Ceramic Core Injection Mold For Optical Fiber Communication System


Introduction:

The optical fiber connector is an indispensable passive component in the optical fiber communication system, mainly used to realize the non-permanent precise docking between the end faces of the equipment, between the equipment and the instrument, between the equipment and the optical fiber, and between the optical fiber and the optical fiber. The optical energy output from the transmitting fiber is maximally coupled into the receiving fiber. Most fiber optic connectors consist of three parts: two mating plugs (ferrules) and a coupling sleeve. The two ferrules are fitted into the two fiber ends; the coupling sleeves are acting the role as alignment, and the sleeves are often equipped with metal or non-metal flanges to facilitate the mounting and fixing of the connectors.

Secondly, the blank is processed through a series of precision grinding to achieve sub-micron precision. Thus we can obtain a ceramic ferrule with good rigidity and high precision.
